Arctic Wolf Emergency Management and Safety Solutions was contacted by Waterways Environmental Ltd. to act as Incident Command System Subject Matter Expert in the Planning Section and Deputy Safety Officer.

Waterways was subcontracted through Ocean Legacy Foundation and Coastal Restoration Society to the BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Control.

 

Arctic Wolf developed a Project Specific Safety Plan, Project Specific Emergency Response Plan that were updated and enhanced to include all new safety and emergency evacuation concerns. A daily safety message was issued that included daily weather, river flood conditions, daily wildlife (animal, bird & snake) hazards and a review of an approved safety procedure.

 

Numerous training sessions were scheduled including Introduction to ICS, Supervisor's Safety Responsibilities and a River Spill Response Course provided to the Nicola Valley First Nations.
